When I go to my "User Control Panel" on these boards and then click the tab for "Board Preferences" I get the following message:

General Error

Language file acp_syndication.php couldn't be opened.


Could this be related to the problem of currently not being able to subscribe to any forum or topic?

Yes. I get the same message. Is slacker aware of this error message displaying when we click on the "board preferences" in the UCP ?

I was hoping to change to something other than a white text on black background when I ran into this as well. It makes it look like I'm posting on an Everquest guild board in 1998. :)

Sweet... now I can get a popup when I have a PM, disable the ability for people to email me, disable censoring (since the censor filter seems to be a bit over-reaching in some cases... Anyone listen to Doo *?)... and lots more!

We did consider a variety of options, but choose this one in the end because the guy that was setting up/maintaining it has used this software in a number of other instances and knows the software really well.

You need to get this guy to look at the View new posts link on the main page. When viewing new posts for threads longer than one page, clicking on view first unread post will not take you to the first unread post. Clicking on the page number will only take you to the first page, not the selected page. This problem has been posted before.

It works fine when you are in the forum pages. But, when you are viewing new posts http://forums.slacker.com/search.php?search_id=newposts, it does not work on that page for me. I use Firefox.
