Same issues here. Sometimes it would run all day long, others for no longer than maybe 1 or 2 songs, then crash back to the home screen. It started around Beta 2, and still existed with the Gold Master of iOS4, which is the same build as what is available today for the launch.
Hope they push the update out soon. (Pandora's is already live. and it's pretty fantastic to have it running in the background)

Agreed, slacker needs an update to support multitasking ASAP or I think they'll start losing market share to Pandora.
... With all of the problems Slackers had lately with their website distributing virus's to users computers (see general forum) I've been contemplating a switch to Pandora anyway. That fact, coupled with the fact that I can multi task on my iPhone with Pandora is probably enough to push me over the edge.
on an iPhone 4 at the first opportunity. And is there an iPad app in our future?Jon wrote:And is there an iPad app in our future?

I also had to do a hard reset one time because the crash was so bad. I'll wait a bit longer for a Slacker update before moving on to a different music app because the station caching is worth it if it can get fixed.

It is available now in the app store and should be pushed to your app store notifications for Updates soon. Enjoy and let us know how it goes for you!
