The Gathering

Postby bassjam57 on Tue Jan 13, 2009 3:34 am

The Gathering is a mixture of hippie-ish music from the 60's to today. Come to The Gathering, relax, take your shoes off and listen to the music that sets you free.

...it's timeless.

Any suggestions?

I'm listening to your station and going through your edit options... looking at your banned artists, how in the world did you get Dane Cook, Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedberg, and Mike Birbiglia to pop up on your station? Those seem well out of place from what you've got going on.

I have spent a lot of time on this station; it was the first station I made about two months ago. Since then I have experimented with a lot of different artists and genres trying to make it just right. I'm still not satisfied with it. In any case, I felt it would be cool to have a comedy break from music from time to time. I think I might add Mitch Hedberg back to the artist list though. His jokes are so absurd that I almost die laughing when I hear them. Too bad he died, huh?

Yeah, Mitch was a favorite of mine. "You know what I like? Mashed Potatoes."

That explains how they got in there. I never thought of that, kind of a neat idea for a station.
