We are providing these guidelines for posting as a service for new users to our forums. Please take a moment and read these guidelines. By following the guidelines you will help yourself, and everyone else that uses the forums, to have the best possible experience.
• Bear in mind that whatever you posted is your own responsibility and you're liable for the content.
• Posting in an appropriate Forum board will help to get you a faster response.
• Prior to starting a new thread/post, please “Search” first and see if there is a previous thread/post that can relate to what you want, and you may be able to find the solution you need faster this way than waiting for a response on the board.
• Before posting a question, always read the “Stickies” first as many problems can be solved with the information provided. “Stickies” are posts that are at the top of each Forum Boards that may contain important information.
• Please use an appropriate title (short description of your issue and product you have) in your subject heading to allow easy navigation for you and other users.
• Try not to post IN ALL CAPS. That's the equivalent of shouting or yelling in a Forum and it's rude and annoying to most people.
• Always specify your problem clearly and provide with as much detail as possible in your post. Information such as firmware version of the product, OS version, driver version, version of software that's having the problem, exact error messages that you have encountered, steps you have taken to troubleshoot, etc...
• Bumping a post many times within a very short period of time will only annoy others and turn them off from helping you.
• Try not to reveal personal information in the Forums that you do not want to make public. This is after all a public Forum and any personal information that you post can be obtained and used by anyone.
• If your problem is resolved, please leave a “Thank You” message to show your appreciation. It would be nice to mention what you did to fix the problem. This will help other users with similar problem to resolve their problem too and you will now spread your knowledge by doing this.
