SLACKER R&B Goes Deep on Your Favorites

SLACKER R&B Goes Deep on Your Favorites

Postby kevin123 on Fri Sep 05, 2008 2:36 pm

One of the biggest differences between Slacker R&B and the "normal" brand of R&B that you hear on your local radio station, is that WE make a point of going deeper and deeper into the new CD's that you love. Hit singles are fun, but we know that quality Slacker artists have so much more to offer.

So, with that in mind, we've thrown in deep tracks from the latest releases from the likes of Angie Stone, Usher, and Eric Benet.

We also like to jump out on emergingartists that are on their way to becoming superstars in their own right--like Jazmine Sullivan and Leigh Jones. Both these ladies are crossing music boundaries, and incorporating the beats of the street into their own unitque R&B twist. We LOVE that.

Check 'em out, and let us know what you think!

Being a new Slacker, I LOVE everything you said Kevin. This is a reason I'm not listening to Xm/Sirius and listening to the excellent Slacker Stations on my G2! I noticed that you play DEEP cuts on R&B and I've only just started listening a few days ago on the webplayer. I love hearing New artists like Jazmine Sullivan! I also heard another new artist last night, I can't remember her name but her album was called live from Dublin or something like that. She was terrific! THIS is what sets Slacker apart from Satellite Radio and Lightyears ahead of FM radio.

Keep up the Great work Kevin! You are the man! :worship:

Kev, you got it going brother! Great Job! This has grown into one of my favorites!

Keep on keeping on!

If all the Programmers gave a station attention like you do, they would rock too. Unfortunately no all Programmers seem to care much about getting involved with listener feedback on Slacker

Again GOOD JOB!

This new R&B single called I Still Cherish You, is to be listen too, it will remind you of those good old r n b love songs with powerful lyrics! You cant find love quotes like this one in these times to often. The song title says it all , a relationship that did not work out but they still have love for each other. This R&B single is to be Cherish and I know it will hit the r&b charts cause the voice of the new r&b artist Tamalaneh has a soulful voice that remind me of Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige , to mention a few, but dont take my word for it go listen to this sweet love song cause its been awhile since a beautiful love song has been around , And this rnb single is downloadable at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, Emusic, etc. The new r&b soul artist has her own personal website go by and sign her guestbook and stay around to hear a few of her songs available on her new R&B Cd coming in August 15, 2009. http://www.tamalaneh.com/home.html Oh yeah the song title is I Still Cherish You!! Enjoy!!!!
I know only Slacker.com would appreciate and help out a new artist as long as you feel they have talent, so I hope your readers will go and check her website out and listen to her music and leave comments thanks!!
