New music playlisted this week from The Verve, Snow Patrol, Empire Of The Sun and new Australian artist who has been making a huge splash in the UK, Gabriella Cilmi.

I noticed the new songs in the UK Hits channel, but I've noticed that for some reason some artists and songs don't show up to be added to my custom playlists. Is there a reason for this? I'm trying to add songs by The King Blues and Empire of the Sun to my custom britpop station, but they don't show up when I "search" artists and titles to customize my channels. I couldn't find anything on this in the FAQ's.

You mean your custom stations? Are you listening to your custom stations on the web player or on your portable. If it's on your G1 or G2, then it's because of licensing perhaps. Not all songs are played on the portables sadly because some artists don't allow or Slacker hasn't acquired the licensing to do so. Not sure if this the reason in your case but could be.
