Looking For A Certain Artist/Band?

Postby CharlesB on Mon May 12, 2008 10:27 am

If you are looking for a certain artist or band on our service and can not find them, please let us know by voicing it in this thread. We look to make our listeners the reason we are successful by listening to their demands and responding to those demands when they are feasible and requesting an Artist/Band is a feasible demand we can try our best to do and it also lets us know this is what you are looking for when you grant us your Radio listening time. Looking forward to your input!

I tried looking for Coverdale/Page tracks on Slacker, but I couldn't find anything. It was a one-off (or maybe a two-off) collaboration, so perhaps the tracks are stored under Coverdale or J. Page separately?

Big Organ Trio

They are a California based organ trio, obviously. I don't know if they're signed or not.
In all humility,

John really loves YES music!

Jerry Lee Lewis

Postby mcrawford on Fri Jun 20, 2008 11:09 am

The tracks you have by Jerry Lee Lewis, like Great Balls of Fire, are re-makes from later years. I'd like to hear the original Sun hits instead.

Armin Van Buuren just recently got added to our catalog. You should be able to hear his new album, "Imagine", on Slacker now.

The Parachute Club

They were an 80's canadian band that got airplay with Rise Up, and Feet of the Moon.

I have a couple bands to request, let's see:

American Diary, there a small band from Baltimore

All Left Out, an awesome band from New Zealand. They played Warped Tour like twice.

and.......Farewell! These guys are getting some real airplay and there still not on slacker! beep boop!

thanks! :-)

Jon McKiel is a great "alt-rock" artist. I would love to see his music here.

Not looking for a Band exactly. About a year ago there was an advertisement for Rock Ballads station. I listened to it and really liked it but it isn't in the general categories for stations. Where can I find it again???

Hey, could you guys consider being able to choose a certain soundtrack from a movie, instead of having to put an artist in. Like instead of putting in "Stephen Sondheim" we could put in "Sweeney Todd" and only that would come up. That would be really awesome. Just a thought.
