How about changing up the Re-Curents same songs over + over

How about changing up the Re-Curents same songs over + over

I been with slacker from beginning but can't help this stations re-currents is really repetitious. They seem to be a common library of songs then songs are added to them in time and if more artists come out it gets bigger. But there are tons of artists and ways to mix them up so you don't hear the same ones. Note re-currents are songs that come out of HOT AC status which then becomes a 2000's hit. So can you guys stop playing the same recurrents and switch them up or for once and use some that you never played before if you insist on adding the same ones over and over. I think songs like the "kill" and others are so over used. I cant be the only one that feels this way.

I totally appreciate your feedback on this, but, I can tell you, without question, this station, as it is programmed now, is the most popular station on our service. So, I'm hesitant to change what the programmer is doing or how he's doing it.

To your point about freshness, Gordon is very good about adding new songs every week, slowing others down, moving songs to recurrent and through to gold status.

My only suggestion here would be to utilize the Heart and Ban buttons on songs that you either like and want more of or dislike and want less of. You can always go back and un-ban something if you want it to start playing again at a later date.

Thanks again for the input and for listening to Slacker.
