G2 won't refresh stations with new station list, it will refresh with old station list only.
Tried the factory reset twice, no dice.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the stations are in your "custom stations". I've found that just adding a stock station to the player online doesn't work unless I first save it to my custom stations.

I have always gone to "Devices" then add to the list "stations on portable"
The stations I want to add are on the list but the list won't load into the G2.

Now I have to go to "custom stations" to add stationsto the G2?

As long as it's in your "custom stations" you should be able to add it from anywhere. That's been my experience. If I just try to add, say, "TopHits" or one of the other stock stations, it won't load on my portable unless I first save it to custom stations. Not sure if this is your problem or not, but it might help.

As with all things slacker, you have to mumble the correct incantations and hold your mouth just right or it won't work.

If the stations you are trying to add are custom stations that others have made, you do need to "customize" them (though don't make any changes, just click "Save" so that it gets saved to your custom stations) before they will cache to a G1 or G2.

If the station is a standard Slacker genre station (i.e. 80s Alternative, Country Hits, or something like that), then you shouldn't need to do this, and should be able to just add the station from the Portable tab in the player. If this isn't working, contact Slacker Support either via email (support@slacker.com) or via Live Chat from 8a-5p Pacific.

They are standard slacker stations. I have 23 stock stations on the list, it loads 15, old stations.I tried to refresh again and I got stuck on the eternal "signing in" screen, did a factory reset, again, and I have the same problem.
I e mailed support and their responce was:

W.T.F is that, I know how to refresh the station list, I have had this piece for 2 yrs.
I'm over this turd of a music player, if it's not one thing its another.
Looks like i might be going back to Sirius, I thought I would never say that

Thanks slacker support for finally helping me on this problem.

"Please remove all stations from the list except for one, then add a station to the list using the Send to Portable button on the Now Playing page of the web site. Then attempt to refresh the Portable.
Also, verify that the Portable ID for your Portable is entered into your account".

First of all I had to do a factory refresh.
I than added three stations than do a refresh.
Verify that your stations are added and have songs in them.
At that point I had to add 1 station at a time with a player refresh after adding each station online. Check to make sure that the station that was just added has music in it before proceeding.

Note: Custom stations must be created from the custom stations tab under all stations.
