Country Music From Randy Houser

Country Music From Randy Houser

Postby misspatty86 on Wed Nov 05, 2008 3:30 pm

I was at a barbeque at my umgd friend’s house this past weekend and he was playing some new country music that I hadn’t heard before. I really liked the song so I asked my friend who it was and he said it was Randy Houser off his new album coming out this month called Anything Goes. As soon as I got home, I immediately checked him out when I got home on his Myspace.com/randyhouser page. His music is amazing. Has anyone else checked him out?

Thanks first of all for choosing Slacker for your online radio listening. We do appreciate it!

Randy Houser has a great new, fresh sound. He just a good old Mississippi boy raised in a little town near Meridian. Randy's dad is also a singer/musician. By the time he was a teenager, Randy was singing in bands and writing songs. Randy went to Nashville in 2003 and found a job as a demo singer. He co-wrote "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" which was a big hit for Trace Adkins.
