Caching for Mac Possible?

Postby pinkoos on Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:13 pm

Hi,

Newbie here. Just trying to figure out if I can cache stations with a Mac rather than a PC?

If not, are there any workarounds or solutions to this?

Thanks.

The workaround right now would be to use VMWare or Parallels (or Boot Camp, if you don't have either of those).

You're the second person that's asked for it.

While I'm a Mac user, though, because of Spotlight and the other hidden files and folders that MacOS stores on every media, I'd prefer to keep my memory card clean and just sync under Windows.

Okay, thanks for the reply.

I'm kinda surprised that Mac support wasn't built-in, but hopeful that it will be forthcoming soon.

My wife has a PC, so I may just have to perform the cache function that way.

Another vote for caching support on MacOS X.

Others may/will disagree, but I'd be willing to upgrade to premium to get caching support.

Given that iPhone development requires a Mac, I'm sure there's someone there that has a Mac that is working on some kind of Mac sync utility for Blackberry!

Blackberry has renewed its support for Mac users by recently releasing a great new Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac, surely Slacker can follow suit and make a Mac refresh utility for caching!!

If we're voting on who would use this if it were available, add my name to the list.
