A little more 80s/90s, a little less Today...

A little more 80s/90s, a little less Today...

Postby MikeV on Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:23 am

The few times I've listened to 80s, 90s and Today, it's been a lot more Today than 80s and 90s... Some changes to song rotation would be nice... hearing a bunch of Today songs, then one 80s or 90s song, then a bunch more Today songs, then one 80s or 90s song doesn't quite do it for me. Maybe two or three Today songs, an 80s song, two more Today songs, a 90s song, etc... And it seems to be focusing more on TODAY today, rather than including a lot of the stuff from the earlier 2000 years.

I 2nd that. Just spice it up with more radio hits then same old stuff over and over. There are tons of songs I seen other providers use in this same format to keep it flowing smoothly. Music choices (Adult top 40) mix is really a decent 80s 90s today. I always hoped slacker would get a similar blend.

Well... maybe it's my G2... After listening for a couple hours to the usual mix, I then heard at least an hour, probably more like two, of solid 80s songs... then it started to mix 90s songs in, then back to normal. Not sure what might've been going on... it was certainly odd.

I agree with the fine tuning if that will help them out. I prefer to listen to this station AND the hits of the 2000's. They play songs I don't hear on 80's/90's/Today.
