I am having the same error 400 as the op. I have gone so far as wiping the entire phone, formatting the SD card, reinstalling Slacker from Slacker.com on the phone, and creating a new Slacker account. Every time the station loader gets to 30 mins and 30 seconds, this error appears.

I'm also having the same problem, and it's getting very annoying. I've sent two emails to customer service, but haven't received a response of any kind. I've tried deleting the application, and then reinstalling it, but without success. I've also tried using several different computers on several different networks, but that didn't work either. The ability to cache stations is the reason I started using Slacker. I hope they respond soon, and find a solution to the problem.

Wow...So glad to hear it isn't just me! I run a Blackberry Storm (9530) and am seldom able to successfully complete a sync without errors.

Past versions of the sync utility would just log these errors and continue (thus resulting in a successful sync) but now it just stops any time an error is encountered. I have tried the uninstall/reinstall/delete content manually from media card routine multiple times with little success.

I suspect it is probably an issue with the Slacker servers but they should at least allow the client to retry or skip these errors when they are encountered...

Here's hoping Slacker gets this fixed soon! I have a lot of spotty cellular service and love the ability to listen to my stations offline!

Slacker, fix this and you WILL have me as a paying customer!

Please try Syncing again. We believe there was a problem with our CDN (Content Delivery Network) that had something misconfigured. The hard part is that it was only happening on a very small percentage of people, so it took a while to track down.

I do want to say thank you to all of the individuals that contacted us via LiveChat and Email and allowed us to work with them. WIth all of the information that was provided to us, and some follow up tests by some individuals, we believe the issues have been resolved.

If you are still experiencing issues, please contact us directly and we'll be more than happy to investigate for you.

Best regards,

Rome E, you rock!

Apologies for posting in the forum before contacting support directly. It does appear to be working now! I'll be sure to contact support if I have any more issues...

My upgrade to a paid subscriber will be forthcoming...

Thanks! :-D

Hey all....
I have recently encountered a slacker station loader issue that I was finally able to resolve. I had 22 stations cached on my blackberry storm, and kept getting an error message when I was trying to refresh my cached stations. I seemed to always get the network error when it was trying to refresh a station called 'UK indie" about 11 percent into refreshing that particular channel. I tried reinstalling the phone software, and other steps to no avail. I was about to remove all the software and delete the slacker folder on my SD card. But, before I did so, I went into my cached stations on my blackberry and deleted that particular station from cache (uk indie). I then tried once more to sync my blackberry to my PC, and it synced up perfectly!!! No more errors!!! then i tried to re-cache "uk indie" once again, and got the same error trying to cache that station once again. So apparently, this is a software/app issue that needs to be addressed. So, if you have station refresh issues, check which station the slacker station loader freezes on, and just remove it from your cached stations.

I've been having problems while refreshing stations. I have the current version of slacker, and all other features work just fine. I've emailed support for assistance, and hopefully this problem can be resolved. Here is the error I get:

400: Slacker Network Error
(request: GET: http://sidesync1.slacker.com/e2/wsv1/sd ... 5e4c41,0,1)

I have a Blackberry Storm 2 9550,and I am using a leaked OS 5.0.0.428. Anyone else having this problem?

RomeE et al,
I too am having a problem caching on my storm 2. I sent an email with a screenshot to slacker support on dec 21, but have not heard anything from them.
If the previous client did allow caching to continue even after an error, how about making that client available to those of us that choose to use it at our own risk until tech support can resolve the problems with the current client?

I am back with the same issue again.
Today when I attempted to cache I received the 504 error then when I tried again I received the 400 error. I have deleted all slacker files reset the account and still the issue persists.

Any help would be appreciated. If I can actually get this thing to cache properly for a week I will throw down for the years subscription. :$

Try again tonight, there did seem to be some network congestion going on today but we are no longer seeing these in the logs.
